Established in June 1977 at the request of the Speakers of European Parliamentary Assemblies, the European Centre for Parliamentary Research and Documentation (ECPRD) is a unique network that promotes cooperation among parliaments across Europe by facilitating the exchange of requests, sharing insights through events and news, and supporting research across a wide range of areas of interest.
Designed for parliamentary staff and researchers, the ECPRD platform offers tools such as advanced search to access comparative data, documentation and best practices in legislative work. Over the years, it has become an important tool for interparliamentary cooperation and information sharing.
The private section of the ECPRD website is accessible only to staff of member parliaments. Please contact your chamber’s ECPRD Correspondent.
